Introduction

In order to goals achievement of third program of country development, the responsibility of primary measure associated with performing studies of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) was assigned to Ports and Maritime Organization with the general joint venture of Ministry of Interior. This organization complemented the primary phase of defining the scheme in coordination with eighteen related ministries and organizations, and assigned performing the first stage of these studies to SPI.
