Introduction

The purpose of the project is to identify and prioritize projects to reduce and recycle gases sent to flare and reduce sulfur gas emissions in the refineries of South Pars Site 1 (which includes 8 refineries) and to carry out detailed engineering design (preparation of feed package) for selected projects, preparation of tender documents and project implementation.

SPI scope of work includes:

• Reviewing and analyzing existing process conditions

• Identifying and prioritizing to reduce flare gases and sulfur gas emissions for each refinery

• Selecting the final solution for each refinery

• Performing basic engineering studies, preparing feed packages, and preparing tender documents
