Supervision of Major Repair for Roofs of Busher Port's Warehouses (no. 1 to 8, except 2)

Introduction

The project for the comprehensive repairs of the roofs of warehouses No. 1 to 8 at Bushehr Port has been defined by the Ports and Maritime Organization of Bushehr Province to modernize and implement necessary renovations in these warehouses. The objective of this project is to carry out extensive repairs in the fields of architecture, structure, electrical installations, and mechanical systems. Additionally, based on the client's request, repairs to doors and repainting of beams and columns have also been included. To identify the numerous damages, a site visit was conducted. The most significant issues identified included rust and decay of the roofing sheets, tearing of insulation covers, corrosion of purlins and structural beams, and breakage of the roof monitor glass. Furthermore, the gutters and console beams had also sustained serious damage. To address the identified problems, the following proposals have been made: Roof Repairs: Dismantling the damaged roofs and replacing them with sandwich panels due to their structural and environmental advantages. Wall Replacement: Rusted wall sheets should be replaced with wall sandwich panels. Rust Removal and Painting: Purlins and structural beams need to be de-rusted and repainted. Glass Renovation: The roof monitor glass should be replaced with clear polycarbonate sheets to prevent breakage and cloudiness. Electrical and Mechanical System Upgrades: Fire alarm equipment and ventilation systems should be thoroughly inspected and reinstalled
