Detailed Studies and Design (Phase II) of the Jajroud Rubber Dam

Introduction

This project, covering approximately 2,250 meters along the Jajroud River within the Lavāsān urban area, is aimed at creating an artificial lake with recreational and aesthetic functions through the construction of a rubber dam of appropriate height. The main objectives are as follows:

  1. Protecting the riverbed (public land) and the designated boundary zones of the Jajroud River
  2. Reclaiming and training the minor and major channels of the Jajroud River to ensure safe flood conveyance
  3. Controlling and preventing pollution from entering the river and preserving the quality of water inflow to the Mamloo Dam
  4. Organizing and standardizing the water usage of the river, considering the importance of drinking water supply
  5. Zoning suitable riverside areas for tourism and recreational development
Proposing a comprehensive and implementable land-use plan (including excess riverbed, quality buffer zone, and riverbank area) with an emphasis on sustainable regional development
