Introduction

The River and River Bank/boundaries Engineering Office of the Iran Water Resources Management Company, with the aim of planning, monitoring and closely supervising the performance of Regional Water Companies in implementing programs related to the National-Focused River and Wetland Engineering Plans with an integrated river management approach at the river basin level, held a bidding process and selected Sazeh Pardazi Iran Consulting Engineers Co. as the lead consultant. One of the first steps taken regarding the management of the National Plan is to review the physical and monetary progress of contracts concluded between 2009 and 2019 from the funds of the National-Focused River and Wetland Plans, as well as to review the spending status of the approved and allocated funds of the National River and Wetland plan. Additionally, planning for spending the remaining obligations of the provinces is another important measure to be done.
