Design and Supervision the completion of Negin Port infrastructure facilities
Introduction
Despite its significant role in cargo exchange, Bushehr Port, due to its location within the urban fabric, faces severe space limitations, creating challenges both for the city and the port itself. To overcome these constraints, the idea of territorial expansion led to consideration of Negin Island, situated across the access channel directly opposite the port.
In order to enable the effective utilization of Negin Island, it is essential to establish the required basic infrastructure, including access roads, electrical installations, lighting systems, mechanical utilities, utility corridors, stormwater drainage networks, and fire detection and suppression systems.
The first phase of constructing part of this essential infrastructure was initiated in recent years by the Bushehr Ports and Maritime Administration. Since 2024, a contract has been awarded to Sazeh Pardazi Iran to review previous studies and complete the development of the island’s infrastructure. The scope of work includes the construction of new access routes, upgrading of existing roads, installation of a surface water drainage system, completion of the containment dike for the oil storage area, provision of limited power transmission to designated zones, and installation of yard lighting.
