Introduction

Based on the requirements of constructing vessel maintenance center in Musannah Port, the engineering services for Conceptual, Basin and Detail design have been performed by SPI. In order to carry vessels with different size between land and sea, two vessel hoists are essential. The client of this project is Royal Oman Police. In these studies, the real situation and alternative systems are investigated. In addition, some features include tidal levels, design vessels, design hoist, geometry, layout, navigation, and structural systems is covered.
